System Navigation

Navigating the contractor portal is simple! A brief description of what you will find in each area of the system is provided below.

 

 

  1. Dashboard – The dashboard provides an overview of the total number of CIP programs and projects you are a part of, as well as the total number of contracts you have within those projects. Data related to the total contract value, payroll, and man hours is also provided. Drill down into more details about each data card by clicking on their respective box.

     

     

    If you are a general contractor or subcontractor, your dashboard will also have a “My Action Items” section at the top of the screen. Any contracts that require your attention will be listed in the appropriate category box. Click on a box to see the list of contracts in each category, and work on them right from the action item window.

     

     

    If you are a sponsor/owner, this is the page you are directed to when logging into the system.

     

     

  2. My Projects – The “My Projects” tab is only available for sponsors/owners and general contractors. The status and basic information about the project is displayed for each record in the list. Click on a project to expand the window to see more project details, view the project hierarchy, or download the CIP certificates for the contractors on the project into a single PDF.

     

     

  3. My Contracts – The “My Contracts” tab allows you to toggle between your list of contracts and your subcontractors’ contracts. Basic information about the status of each contract is displayed for each record. Click to expand the window and view additional details about the contract. If you are a general contractor or subcontractor, this is the page you are directed to when logging into the system.

     

     

  4. My Documents – All documents tied to your contracts are stored in the “My Documents” tab. This includes all documents you have uploaded for any of your contracts, as well as any documents shared with you by the administrator.

     

     

  5. My CIP Certificates - The “My CIP Certificates” tab is only available for sponsors/owners and general contractors. Go here to download individual PDFs of the CIP certificates into a zip file for contractors on a CIP program or project.

     

     

  6. My Reports – If the CIP administrator has given you access to reports in the system, the "Reports" tab will be available. Go to this tab to run and export reports related to your contracts.

     

     

  7. Feedback - A feedback button is available at both the top and bottom of the screen. Use this feature to provide feedback about your experience using the contractor portal. All feedback is reviewed and considered when making improvements to the system.

     

     

  8. Help Material – Access the full contractor portal learning center for articles and guides on navigating and using the features of the system.

     

     

  9. Profile – Update your company and contact information, change your password, and set up security questions.

     

     

  10. My Contracts – The “My Contracts” list within the "My Contracts" tab displays a list of your assigned contracts. Basic information about the status of each contract is displayed for each record in the list. Click on a contract to expand the window and view additional contract details.

     

     

  11. My Subcontractors – The “My Subcontractors” list within the "My Contracts" tab displays a list of contracts for the subcontractors on your contracts. Basic information about each contract is displayed in the list. Click on a contract to expand the window and view additional contract details.

     

     

  12. My Action Items - Any contracts that require your attention will be listed in the appropriate category box. Expand the box to see the list of contracts in each category. Clicking on a contract from the list will open a window from the right side of the screen, allowing you to work on the contract in the same screen.

     

     

  13. Help Widget – Use the help widget to quickly search for help guides and articles while remaining on your current page. All guides and articles can be viewed in the widget window.
