Accessing Safety Alerts
If safety inspections are being tracked in the system, then any safety alerts for inspection violations will appear in the “Other Notifications” category on the Dashboard. You will also have an additional tab at the top of the page called “Safety”.
When you click on “Other Notifications”, a window will open from the right side of the screen. Use the arrow to open the list for the “Safety Alerts”.
Opening the Safety Alerts
When you click on a safety alert, you will be redirected to the Safety tab where the inspection observation(s) will appear.
View and Reply to Observations
Click on the observation to view the inspection details. The description, required action, and any attachments will be available in the window that opens from the right.
Add any comments in the message to inspector and upload any materials that prove the corrective measures have been implemented.
When the message is sent to the inspector, you will get a confirmation message on the screen verifying that the message was successfully sent.
The status of the safety alert will change to “Pending Inspector Review”.
Inspector Review
When the inspector reviews the information that was sent, it can either be marked as incomplete and sent back for correction, or it can be marked complete.
When the alert is marked complete, the observation will appear in the “completed” list of safety alerts.
